Cow Dung
Cow dung is the waste product of bovine animals, used traditionally as a fuel source, organic fertilizer, and for religious ceremonies.
Agriculture:
- Manure & Fertilizer: Rich in nutrients like Nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, making it an excellent natural fertilizer. It also improves soil structure and water retention.

- Paper and other products: Can be used as a raw material for making paper and other products.
Types of Cow Wastage:
- Cow Dung/Manure: The solid waste, a rich source of organic matter and nutrients for soil.
- Cow Urine: The liquid waste, also containing valuable nutrients and minerals.
- Bedding Material: Straw and other bedding materials can be considered when mixed with manure.
- Liquid Manure (Slurry): A liquid form of manure produced in intensive farming systems, especially where concrete floors are used.

Size, Weight, and Color:
- Color: Cow dung can range from greenish to blackish, often darkening after exposure to air.
- Packaging: Often packaged in 25kg bags.
- Cow Dung Cakes:
- Shape/Size: Typically round or square, ranging in size from 15cm×15cm to 23cm×23cm.
- Thickness: About 2.5cm.
- Weight: A single cake is around 1.2kg or 400gms.
